Spiritually: To gain a wide range of knowledge, have full comprehension of age-appropriate concepts, reach classroom goals, and be well-prepared for upcoming academic challenges.

Mentally: To expand their interests, think independently, and develop problem-solving skills.
Physically: To establish personal cleanliness habits, to improve both gross and fine motor skills, and to follow and practice simple rules of safety.
Emotionally: To learn that it is 'ok' and normal to feel a wide range of emotions (happy, sad, angry, frustrated, excited, etc.) and to work on regulating all emotions and expressing those emotions in appropriate ways.
Socially: To grow in the ability to work and play with others, to develop an attitude of kindness and cooperation toward others, and to receive guidance on setting healthy boundaries with peers.
